New Director at Strömstad Spa & Resort

Norwegian Hospitality Group (NHG) has appointed Erica Hultmark (50) as the new director at Strömstad Spa & Resort. Hultmark takes up the position on Monday, February 2nd, coming from the role of CEO at Stenungsbaden Yacht Club.

– Erica is one of the strongest leadership profiles in the Nordic hotel and tourism industry, with a rare combination of operational weight, commercial understanding, and clear leadership. She has delivered strong results over time and has a values-based leadership style that aligns very well with our culture and ambitions, says Jarle Moen, CEO of Norwegian Hospitality Group.

Strömstad Spa & Resort is one of NHG's most important destinations, and the hiring of Hultmark is part of the group's long-term effort to further develop the spa and experience offerings.

– We have clear ambitions for Strömstad Spa & Resort. Together with Erica, we will elevate the destination further as a complete spa and experience resort, with holistic guest experiences on water and land, strong culture, and clear positioning in the market, Moen explains.

Outgoing director Linda Einarsrud is moving on to the position of hotel manager at Hotel Riviera, which is one of nine hotels owned by Norwegian Hospitality Group.

Delights of the West Coast
Erica Hultmark has over 25 years of experience in the hotel and tourism industry and is educated in hotel management from IHTTI School of Hotel Management in Switzerland. She has held leading roles in Scandic Hotels, Strawberry, and First Hotels, and has been hotel director for Comfort Hotel Winn in Umeå, Quality Hotel Jönköping, and First Hotel G in Gothenburg. She has also served as Regional Director Operations for First Hotels in Western Sweden. For the past six years, she has been the CEO of Stenungsbaden Yacht Club.
